Whose Job is it to Protest War & Injustice?

This is a story about four people named
Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job.
Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

To: joliyoka@gmail.com

UPDATE: You can be among the first to see a terrific video just
released in support of Bradley Manning -- featuring Daniel Ellsberg,
Oliver Stone, Alice Walker, Phil Donahue, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Moby,
Michael Ratner, Matt Taibbi, Lt. Dan Choi, Tom Morello, Wallace Shawn
and many others.

"The information that Bradley gave to the public has been a catalyst
for pro-democracy movements in the Arab world, exposed the unjust
detainment of innocent people at Guantanamo Bay, shown us the true
human cost of our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and changed journalism
forever," the video's producers point out.

You can watch the inspiring new video at the "I Am Bradley Manning" website.

The brave young whistleblower Bradley Manning went on trial this week
-- facing charges that could keep him in prison for the rest of his
life.

But we're pushing back.

You and more than 60,000 other people have already signed our petition
for Bradley Manning to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

Now, at this historic moment, please do more.

At a pre-trial hearing three months ago, Bradley Manning said: "I
believed that if the public, especially the American public, had
access to the information . . . this could spark a domestic debate on
the role of the military and our foreign policy in general, as well as
it related to Iraq and Afghanistan."

By clicking here [

Bradley Manning's Nobel Peace Prize.

Democracy depends on access to information and vigorous debate. At
great personal risk, Bradley Manning has done his part. Together, we
must do ours.

Please pass the information along to kindred spirits.

Military Drones Come in all shapes and sizes

Wednesday, June 5th, 2013

Mosquito

or Not?

mosquito drone

Not!

This is a U.S. military “INSECT DRONE” already in production. This device can be controlled from a great distance and is equipped with a camera and microphone. This device can also land on you and is equipped with a needle capable of retrieving a DNA sample with the pain of a mosquito bite. It’s also capable of injecting a micro RFID tracking device under your skin, and who knows, possible lethal viruses, etc.

Big brother just got a lot smaller. How long till the police have them?  Till they’re in terrorist hands?  Many people around the world say they already are in terrorist hands; that the U.S. is the greatest purveyor of violence and terrorism in the world today.  The militarization of every aspect of life is well underway.  Surveillance and killer drones violate basic human rights that should be extended to every person on earth.

Ground the

Drones!  Say No

to War!
