Sample testimony below

Our organization supports HB2848.  Establishing Pu’uhonua (decentralized wellness centers) on all islands as an alternative to building more prisons, makes good sense.  The Pu’uhonua will be open to all but use the Ho’oponopono traditional Kanaka Maoli process of making right to help heal individuals, families and our communities.  Pu’uhonua will be for the good of all Hawaii’s people and can help provide real hope to save money, reduce recidivism, prevent crime, and create long-term positive personal and social change.
Please support this important effort of Ohana Ho’opakele.
Mahalo.
