GIVE PEACE ANOTHER CHANCE — HOT STYLE!”

Harmony on Tap (HOT) in Concert November 8th and 9th

to Benefit Ku’ikahi Mediation Center

Harmony on Tap (HOT) ushers in the season of giving with its second annual peace concerts. The non-profit Ku’ikahi Mediation Center will benefit from the “COOL women making HOT music for a GOOD cause.”

Concerts on Friday, November 8th, and Saturday, November 9th, begin at 7:30 p.m. at First United Protestant Church (above Kaiser).

“Ku’ikahi Mediation Center is a natural beneficiary for funds raised from singing about peace and harmony,” says HOT co-founder Jeri Gertz. “Their mission is to find peaceful solutions to conflicts, and it’s their 30th anniversary.”

HOT’s signature concert style — variety — is also perfect for this theme, adds HOT co-founder Amy Gregg. “We seek and find peace in many settings and relationships. Our songs reflect that kind of diversity, from heartfelt prayer to passionate love to joyous celebration.”

Harmony on Tap is a 10-woman vocal group. This concert program includes jazz standards, pop classics, spirituals, soft rock, and multicultural songs. “Peace has never been this HOT!” quips Gertz.

Tickets: $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Available from Ku’ikahi Mediation Center (101 Aupuni Street), Day-Lum (2 Kamehameha Avenue), HOT members, or at the door. For more information, call Ku’ikahi (935-7844) or Jeri Gertz (989-3208).
