Film:  “Unmanned: America’s Drone Wars”
Where:  Univ. of Hawaii at Hilo UCB Rm 100
When: Thursday, February, 6, 2014  6:30PM
Details:  Documentary investigates the impact of U.S. drone strikes at home and abroad with interviews with a drone operator and Pakistani families mourning loved ones.  Footage from tribal areas humanizes those affected by the brutal reality of U.S. drone policy.  These actions are often imprecise and create enemies for the American people who are ignorant of how the killings are carried out.
