A military press release of October 1, 2019 said that on Oct. 16 and 18, strategic aircraft will bomb Pohakuloa. The B-2 stealth strategic nuclear bomber (shown above) may be the strategic aircraft involved.  One of the 20 U.S. B-2 Bombers has been named “Spirit of Hawaii.”  Three B-2s are deployed from Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam. Other B-2s from Louisiana, Missouri, and Guam have also bombed Pohakuloa flying non-stop from their respective bases. Each B-2 bomber costs in excess of $2 Billion. Bombing at PTA can be felt throughout much of Hawaii Island.  The military media release also said that Oct. 2019 training at the Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) will involve small and heavy weapons, artillery and mortar training, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), and helicopter gunnery.

Stop the Bombing!  Stop the Wars!  Enough already!

Stop bombing our water source -Kaohe!

Stop Bombing Mauna Kea!   Kapu Aloha!

The military Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) located in the center of Hawaii island is 133,000-acres in size. That is 4-5 times the size of Kaho’olawe and bigger than the island of Guam. PTA has been used as a war training ground since WWII, more than 75 years. Today, all branches of the U.S. military, conduct live-fire war training at PTA. Virtually every kind of weapon – from small arms, artillery, rockets, bombs, etc. are fired at PTA. PTA is now contaminated with a wide range of military toxins, including lead, perchlorate, Depleted Uranium (DU) radiation, etc.  Inhaled DU oxide dust particles is one of the most deadly forms of radiation
