I have signed the Non-violence pledge and I encourage others to sign likewise.

On 11 November 2011 'The People's Charter to Create a Nonviolent World'
was launched. The Charter can be viewed at:
http://thepeoplesnonviolencecharter.wordpress.com
The Nonviolence Charter is designed to help build a global consensus
against the use of violence in all contexts and to encourage action in
that direction.
So far, the Charter has gained individual signatories in 45 countries and
endorsements from organisations in 19 countries. You can see the names of
individual signatories and endorsing organisations by clicking the
appropriate links on the Charter website (above).
If you wish, you can read an article outlining progress to date at
http://www.countercurrents.org/burrowes090812.htm
We invite you to consider signing the Nonviolence Charter. If, after
reading it, you would like to sign it personally, you can do so online.
And, if it feels appropriate, you are welcome to invite others to consider
signing the Charter as well.
Finally, we invite the Malu 'Aina Center for Non-violent Education and
Action to consider endorsing the Nonviolence Charter. Organisations that
endorse the Charter, together with a link to their website, are published
on the Charter website following receipt of the appropriate advice by
email.
We would be happy to answer any questions you may have during your
deliberations.
