Here are a few resources that I located regarding the events culminating in January 17, 1893. I have not read or watched them all, nor am recommending any in particular (except the Queens own words). Providing as support for those who might want to learn more. I also know some teachers and parents wanted the DOE standards to go along with attending. PS Facebook doesnʻt let me underline etc.
