What is your “Spirit of Hawaii?”

B-2 Bombers in Hawaii

Three B-2 Nuclear bombers are now based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. B-2 bombers cost at least $1 BILLION each. Wikipedia says B-2s actually cost $2.1 BILLION each.

These planes also cost over $130,000 per hour to operate. https://www.businessinsider.com/air-force-plane-cost-per… B-2 bombers have flown non-stop round trips from Missouri, Louisiana, and Guam to bomb Pohakuloa, costing over $2 million per flight, which does not include the cost of the bombs, nor the damage to the land.

One of the 21 B-2 bombers built is named “Spirit of Hawaii.” Just imagine what the cost of that B-2 bomber could do to feed the hungry and house the homeless. What “Spirit of Hawaii” reflects your values?

  1. Mourn all victims of violence. 2. Reject war as a solution. 3. Defend civil liberties.
    4. Oppose all discrimination, anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-Hawaiian, etc.
    5. Seek peace through peaceful means and work for justice in Hawai`i and around the world.
