Please Join the Hilo Friday Peace Vigil in the face of increasing threats
Aloha fellow peacemakers,
We need your help. There has been growing hostility expressed toward the few of us at the weekly Hilo Friday Peace Vigil. I attribute this to Trump’s increasing climate of hate toward asylum seekers, women, minorities, journalists, etc. etc.
This is an appeal for joining the Friday Hilo Peace Vigil 3:30-5PM at the downtown Post Office if at all possible. Come for 5 minutes, a half hour, or whatever time you can afford. Bring a chair and sit in the shade if you like. There is strength and safety in numbers.
The Hilo Peace vigil has been taking place every Friday for over 17 years, since 9-11. Sign up on at www.malu-aina.org to receive the new weekly peace vigil leaflet and other posts. And please pass the word to join the vigil if at all possible. Your solidarity is much appreciated.
