Spy Wednesday of Holy Week in the Christian Calendar

SPY WEDNESDAY?

Most Christians are aware that In Holy Week, Thursday commemorates the Last Supper, Good Friday is the Day that commemorates Jesus’s crucifixion, and Easter Sunday, the day Jesus rose from the grave.  But few Christians are aware that Wednesday of Holy Week is known as “SPY WEDNESDAY.”  It commemorates Judas Escariot acting as a spy to rat out Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.   That’s why Judas Escariot is considered the patron saint of the CIA.
