Hawaii residents aboard “The Audacity of Hope” ship sailing into Gaza as part of 2nd Freedom Flotilla

Honolulu residents, Ret. Army Colonel and State Dept. diplomat, Ann Wright, and Carol Murry, a public health doctor, will be part of the upcoming 2nd Freedom Flotilla,  due to sail in late June for Gaza on the U.S. flagged ship –The Audacity of Hope.  People from 22 nations, with a clear commitment to non-violence, will be setting sail to Gaza challenging the Israeli naval blockade of Gaza.  The flotilla will be attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Among the scheduled 50 passengers on The Audacity of Hope is internationally celebrated author, Alice Walker, who has likened the flotilla to the “Freedom rides” into the segregated south of the U.S. in the 1950s and 60s.
