A BAD George Santos
Con Man Republican Congressman from New York elected on lies about his education, past jobs, and his heritage. He lied about graduating from college. He lied about working for major investment firms. He lied about being Jewish, and he lied about his own mother, saying she fled the Holocaust when she was born and lived in Brazil during the Nazi era.

Tuesday, December 27th, 2022Reasons for a Ukraine
Ceasefire and Peace Talks
1. Alleviate the suffering. The war has killed thousands and has created millions of refugees, with millions more without heat, electricity, and water. The only way to halt this suffering is to end the war.
2. There is No Military Solution. US and NATO military leaders, including US military top General, Mark Milley, believe that neither side can win a decisive victory.
3. Americans are questioning the blank check for continued war. The US has already committed Over $100 BILLION dollars to the war, which could have been spent on healthcare, housing, education, climate, and other pressing human needs.
4. The war is causing upheavals in Europe. Sanctions on Russian energy are backfiring, causing inflation, hurting families and the manufacturing sector, and triggering protests against US arms makers profiting from the war while Europeans are bearing the consequences.
5. Wars are catastrophic for the environment. The war is polluting Ukraine’s rivers and land,, destroying its forests, sabotaging gas pipelines causing massive methane pollution, and risking nuclear power plant meltdowns and massive radiation contamination.
6. The war is increasing global hunger. The war has reduced exports of grain and fertilizer from Ukraine and Russia affecting food production and consumption around the globe, including Africa and the Middle East., causing millions to go hungry.
7. The World Community is calling for peace. In the UN General Assembly, countries representing a majority of the world’s population said they don’t want to take sides with Ukraine or Russia, They simply want to be on the side of peace. The same at the global climate gathering in Egypt, where delegates said wealthy nations should invest to address the climate crisis, not war.
8. THE DANGER OF NUCLEAR WAR. The world is very close to a wider war. The Ukraine war is bringing the world to the brink of Nuclear Armageddon.
See the short 4-minute video for more details on the 8 reasons above. https://vimeo.com/780326712
Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov recently said: “We keep warning our adversaries in the West about the dangers of their course to escalate the Ukrainian crisis. … The risk that the situation could spin out of control remains high.” (AP)
Negotiate Don’t Escalate! More War is NOT the Answer!
Peace is a Victory for ALL Sides!
1. Mourn all victims of violence. 2. Reject violence & war as solutions. 3. Defend civil liberties.
4. Oppose all discrimination: anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-Hawaiian, anti-Black, anti-Asian, anti-Russian, etc.
5. Seek peace through peaceful means and work for justice in Hawai`i and around the world.
