9-11 & Beyond

At U.S. sporting events the flags keep getting bigger and bigger. But…

There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent lives.

This week marked the 16th anniversary of 9-11 and the 834th consecutive week of the Hilo Peace Vigil which started on Sept. 12, 2001. Each week we write a new peace leaflet. I join you with thoughts and prayers for all those who have lost loved ones on 9-11, but we need to do more. While there were lots of articles on remembering those who died in the U.S. that day and since related to those attacks, less has been written about strange occurrences during those murderous events. Such as four commercial passenger jets hijacked within a half hour and no NORAD fighter jets scrambled. How come? Engineers the world over claim the Twin Towers and Building 7 (not hit by any plane) were brought down by controlled demolition explosives.

Bush cabal criminals –George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Condoleezza Rice, Paul Wolfowitz, Colin Powell, CIA Director George Tenet, etc. need to be brought to justice. The Project for a New American Century (PNAC) – the neocon think tank whose position paper in the late 1990s declared – the 21st century will be the century of the American Empire but to provide a cover for resource grabbing and global domination, a new triggering event is needed. That event PANAC said is –”A New Pearl Harbor.” Hence 9-11. But it’s not just the Bush cabal that needs to be brought to justice. It’s everything that preceded 9-11 and followed. The Clinton cabal of the 90s, the Obama cabal that followed Bush, and of course the Trump cabal that is ongoing.

9-11 is not just those who died in the U.S..  It includes the millions killed in western wars in at least 7 countries since 9-11 with no end in sight. As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said 50 years ago — “The greatest purveyor of violence in the world today is my own government.”  The only thing that has changed since King spoke those prophetic words 50 years ago is that things have gotten much worse. The U.S. killing continues to escalate.  It’s time to say enough!

No More War!   Work for Justice!

Save the Planet!

  1. Mourn all victims of violence. 2. Reject war as a solution. 3. Defend civil liberties.
    4. Oppose all discrimination, anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-Hawaiian, etc.
    5. Seek peace through peaceful means and work for justice in Hawai`i and around the world.
