U.S. War Crimes Exposed!

That’s why the U.S. wants to punish Julian Assange of Wikileaks

Let’s be clear. The U.S. government wants to punish and silence Julian Assange of Wikileaks for exposing U.S. war crimes. It also wants to send a strong chilling message to journalists throughout the world that exposing US crimes and corruption will not be tolerated. You will be hunted down, anyone, an where, any time. The imprisonment of Assange and the US efforts to extradite him from the UK to the US for prosecution is an attack on both a free press and free speech, not only in the US and the UK, but on the entire planet.

Remember that Assange is not an American citizen. He is an Australian. The US empire believes it can imprison anyone, from any country on earth. It’s reach knows no bounds. The same with US war policies, drone attacks and targeted assassinations in more and more countries. Venezuela and Iran are on the US high priority attack list for not bowing to US global domination. If war breaks out, it could go global very quickly. It’s simple, US corporate interests want Venezuelan oil.

The case of punishing Assange is directly linked to the punishing of Chelsea Manning who leaked to Wikileaks the video of US helicopter personnel carrying out and cheering the machine gun murder of at least a dozen Iraqi civilians including two Reuters journalists. No one has been prosecuted for committing US war crimes but Assange and Manning are in prison for exposing war crimes. And don’t forget Edward Snowden in exile who exposed massive surveillance of US citizens by the US intelligence network after then National Intelligence director, James Clapper, lied to Congress that such surveillance didn’t exist.

Assange, Manning and Snowden told us the truth about crimes of the US government. Citizens have a right to know what is being done in their names. Assange, Manning and Snowden are being punished while the true criminals walk free. The simple fact is the U.S. government doesn’t want citizens to know the truth. And sadly, all too often, the mainstream media become the government mouthpiece to help keep us in the dark or distort the truth. Don’t be fooled!

Stand up! Speak out! An injury to one is an injury to all!

Palm Sunday Bombing at Pohakuloa after Breakfast of “Champions”

Monday, April 15th, 2019

Nancy Cook Lauer PTA showcases live-fire exercises. The bass booms of heavy artillery echoed through the region Sunday morning as plumes of smoke spiraled into the blue skies along the slope of Mauna Loa.

Palm Sunday Protest of PTA “Breakfast of Champions” and Bombing

Sunday, April 14th, 2019

Aloha kakou,

Palm Sunday,. April 14, 2019 protest of “Champions of PTA” Breakfast and Bombing Day at Pohakuloa (PTA) 6:30-8AM.   PTA was hosting a breakfast for its “Champions of PTA” at 7AM and then were going to take the “Champions” on a meet and greet to the troops 8-10AM firing heavy duty cannons etc. A couple of us stood in protest outside the main PTA gate. Judging from the very light traffic entering the base, not many “Champions of PTA” attended.  On the third photo below you can see bomb debris clouds in the distant slopes of Mauna Loa. Our message was simple: Protect “Aina, Protect Youth, Protect Pohakuloa. Stop Bombing. Real Champions don’t Bomb! The live fire was heavy at times — cannons, rockets and helicopter gunships. Desecration of the sacred ‘Aina. Just like the First Palm Sunday — Desecration of the Sacred Temple in Jerusalem by Money changers.whose tables Jesus upset.

Join the Protest at the PTA Main Gate on Thursday, April 18th 9AM till 1PM during the “Experience PTA” open House where school children, etc. are invited on to the PTA base contaminated with Depleted Uranium oxide particles, etc. Please pass the word about the protest.  Mahalo.

We have received word from the Dept. of Education Kona head,Art Souza, that due to our raising health concerns, no schools from the Kona side of the island will be attending “Experience PTA Day”.  We have not heard about the Hilo side of the island if any, or how many, schools will be attending.

STOP BOMBING POHAKULOA!

Y’all wanna celebrate Earth Day? Start by not dropping bombs. Rather than let your keiki go to the Pohakuloa military base exposing them to health threats go visit an organic farm, fishpond, prepare a meal for the houseless, go pick flowers and make lei with kūpuna and talk story. Let’s actually care for the earth. That’s free too!

Call to Action!!! Three ways to Protect Pōhakuloa!

1.) Please share on social media and ADD a photo of yourself and your loved ones with the message –Stop Bombing Pohakuloa, Don’t bring youth to Pohakuloa out of health concerns, etc.
Urge young people and off island Lahui to make their own signs and post with their photos on social media!! When you post add the hashtags #protectpohakuloa #PTAShutdown #protectourkeiki #seeyouonthemauna

2.) Thurs, April 18, 2019 Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA). Main Gate 9AM-1PM
Protest “Experience PTA Day” events where the military has invited school children, parents, and people from the community on base, despite KNOWN HEALTH RISKS. We encourage young folks, those who are hapai, or in ill health to post photos, make calls and raise awareness and not risk their health at the 4/18 PTA Gate Protest. (Car pools 8AM from Hilo @Komohana & Saddle)

  1. Contact the DOE and tell them to stop encouraging students to go to Pōhakuloa! (Hilo side DOE) Chad Farias. Phone: 808-982- 4719. Email: Chad_Farias@hawaiidoe.org (Kona side DOE) Art Souza: Phone: 808-327-4991 Email: art_souza@hawaiidoe.org

It should be noted that PTA is a 133,000-acre hazardous toxic waste dump from more than 75 years of live-fire training of weapons by the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. More than 14 million live-rounds are fired annually at PTA and Depleted Uranium (DU) radiation rounds have been used there.

Please view the short video of Dr. Lorrin Pang, M.D., public health officer and retired Army Medical Corps explaining the health dangers of inhaling DU oxide dust particles (See https://vimeo.com/19153948).
