There will be a Peace Organizing Meeting: Monday, June 24th from 6-8PM at the Kea’au Community Center, located behind the Kea’au Police Station and Health Clinic. Topics for discussion include upcoming RIMPAC protests, stopping the US/Israel Genocide in Gaza, and monitoring for Depleted Uranium Radiation, lead, etc. coming off Pohakuloa. RIMPAC protests planned for Hawaii Island — If RIMPAC goes forward, extensive protests are planned. Presently protests are scheduled for Saturday, June 22 from 10 AM till Noon in Hilo on Kamehameha Ave near the Mo’oheau Bandstand, Saturday, July 6 from 10 AM till Noon at the Pohakuloa Main Gate, Saturday, July 20 from 10 AM till Noon fronting the Kamehameha Statue on Hilo Bayfront.
