Hawaii is one of the most militarized places on the planet with over 100 US military installations. Oahu is the Headquarters for the US Indo-Pacific Military Command that covers more than half the earth, Oahu includes major US military Force bases, such as the Naval base at Pearl Harbor, Army Garrison at Schofield Barracks, and the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base. Major military weapons are stored at West Loch of Pearl Harbor.
The 133,000-acre Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) in the center of Hawaii Island is a training ground for war, including nuclear war, by all branches of the US military. The base has been contaminated with radiation from uranium spotting rounds for nuclear weapon systems fired there. B-52 and B-2 strategic nuclear bombers from Louisiana, Missouri, and Guam fly non-stop training missions to practice bombing at PTA. Join the movement to De-Militarize Hawaii and the world.
