Hi all, We were honored to present the VFP letter and VFP flag to the kapuna (elders) leading the Mauna Kea Protectors. As you can see the weather was challenging intense rain and wind–and that’s before the tropical storm due in tomorrow and the hurricane next Monday

Gerry had spoken of militarism in our societies and the kapuna nodded their heads in agreement– Pohakuloa is the massive US military training area located between the two volcanoes Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea and a focus of much activism to end the bombing and artillery practice in Pohakuloa.
