More violence is NOT the answer: Another US drone assassination!

On the US assassination of Al Qaeda Leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri Killed In a US Drone Strike in downtown Kabul, Afghanistan

Joe Bidnen’s said: “no matter how long it takes, no matter where you hide, if you are a threat to our people, the United States will find you and take you out.”

The US says: Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden and his deputy Zawahiri together declared war on the United States and organized the terrorist attack of 9/11 that killed 2,977 people on American soil.

For decades, Zawahiri was a mastermind behind attacks against Americans, including the bombing of the USS Cole in 2000, which killed 17 American sailors and wounded dozens more.

He played a key role in the bombing of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, killing 224 and wounding more than 4,500 others.

Why do so many people around the world hate the US?

Some polls say the US is the greatest threat to peace on the planet. The US has killed, injured, and displaced tens of millions of people in the last 60 years.

In 1967, the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “The greatest purveyor of violence in the world today is my own government.”

True then, still true today! Violence begets more violence! More killing is not the answer. We need to build a world of justice and peace to stop the violence. The US needs to lead by example.

PS.  The Military Pohakuloa Toxic Area (PTA) in the center of Hawaii island is a drone training ground, including the Reaper assassination drone, like the one that fired missiles to kill Ayman Al-Zawahiri In Kabul, Afghanistan.
