In a chilling comment, the late Daniel Ellsberg in his book “The Doomsday Machine” published in 2017, states: “One day in the spring of 1961, soon after my thirtieth birthday, I was shown how our world would end… (On page 3) The total death toll as calculated by the Joint Chiefs, from a U.S. first strike aimed at the Soviet Union, its Warsaw Pact satellites, and China, would be roughly six hundred million dead. A hundred Holocausts.”
In 1961, the world population was 3 Billion according to the United Nations. As of Nov. 2022, the world’s population is 8 Billion according to the UN.
In my view, we are closer to a global nuclear war NOW than at any time in history. Where is the peace movement so much needed to prevent a global nuclear holocaust today amounting to Billions of deaths and the end of civilization?
Remember, Hawaii is the US military Indo-Pacific command, force center, staging ground, and training area for war covering more than half the earth. What the Pohakuloa Training Area’s (PTA) new commander, Lt. Col. Timothy Alvarado said and quoted on the Front page of The Hawaii Tribune-Herald, Thursday, June 29, 2023, is a lie: “WE ARE STEWARDS OF THE LAND.’ The truth is PTA is a training ground for war, including global nuclear war. If PTA is a steward of anything, it is a steward of THE BOMB,’ or as Daniel Ellsberg described it — THE DOOMSDAY MACHINE.
