Reminder –On the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month we usually have peace organizing meetings 6-8 PM at the Kea’au Community center
The Kea’au Community Center is located behind the Kea’au Police station and Community Health Clinic in Kea’au.  Zoom connection from 6:30- 7:15PM.

1.  Escalating war in Ukraine:  Cluster bombs, DU weapons, risk of the destruction of Europe’s largest nuclear plant (Zaporizhzhia), Ukraine blaming Russia, Russia blaming Ukraine, etc.  See

NO Cluster Bombs and NO Depleted Uranium (DU) weapons either.  Ceasefire & Negotiations for Peace NOW!

2.  Change of command at Pohakuloa –change but no change.  Business as usual bombing and contaminating the land with toxins.

3.  Increasing tensions with China.

Join the Friday Hilo Peace Vigil 3:30-5PM at the downtown Hilo Post Office.  It is more important than ever to stand up and speak up for peace not further war escalation.  Spread the word please. Mahalo.  No meeting on Monday, July 24th.  Next meeting — August 14th
