The US keeps sending more and more weapons to Ukraine for its proxy war against Russia: tanks, howitzers, and cluster bombs. Now Depleted Uranium (DU) weapons, F-16s, etc. What’s next? Nuclear War – the end of civilization?

Depleted Uranium (DU) weapons have been used at the military Pohakuloa Toxic Area (PTA) in the center of Hawaii Island and at other sites in Hawaii. DU oxide dust particles can be carried long distances in the strong winds that blow through the Saddle Area from PTA. Hawaii County needs comprehensive, independent, testing and monitoring to determine the full extent of DU at PTA and what’s blowing in the wind off Pohakuloa.. The Hawaii County Council called for 8 actions in 2008, including stopping all bombing at Pohakuloa until safety actions were taken in Resolution 639-08, which passed by a vote of 8-1. The military has refused to act on the County’s call for positive action.
