The U.S. is a War Machine

Nation!

“We prefer war over healthcare. We prefer war over housing. We prefer war over education. We prefer war over the economic welfare of our own citizens” Just look at the US budget!

     Instead of heading the call of millions of people demonstrating around the world, and most of the world’s countries. calling for a Ceasefire and de-escalation of the Israel-Hamas war, the US keeps sending more and more weapons to Israel. BILLIONS of dollars. In addition, the US now has 2 aircraft carrier battleship groups in the region and a nuclear submarine as a show of force risking further escalation, and even possible global nuclear war.

     The growing death toll in the Israel-Hamas war is horrendous. We deplore the killings done by Hamas on Oct. 7 in which more than 1100 Israelis and 300 people from other nations died. And we deplore the massive shelling and bombardment that Israel is doing in Gaza killing more than 10,000 civilians (including 4000 children), and injuring more than 20,000 civilians in the name of destroying Hamas. Gaza is now in the midst of a humanitarian crisis with an extreme lack of food, water, medical supplies, electricity, communications, sanitation, etc. Massive crimes against humanity are taking place in Gaza with the complicity of the US government.

     WWII General and former US president, Dwight D. Eisenhower, warned of the growing danger in 1960 of what he called “The US Military Industrial Complex (MIC).” That danger has grown significantly since then. Former CIA analyst, turned peace activist, Ray McGovern now calls it The MICIMATT (Military-Industrial-Congressional-Intelligence-MEDIA-Academia-Think-Tank) complex. It is a war propaganda machine like never seen before. Learn more about it and stand up for peace before it is too late. Do not be intimidated – standing up for peace in the Middle East is not anti-Semitic or anti-Islamic.

Wage Peace Not War!

       4. Oppose all discrimination: anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-Hawaiian, anti-Black, anti-Asian, anti-Russian, anti-LGBTQ, etc. 5. Seek peace through peaceful means and work for justice in Hawai`i and around the world.
