Say NO to WWIII

Speak Up & Stand Up Now! Don’t be Bamboozled

by U.S. Propaganda!

China Wants War Too!

Look how close they put their country to our military bases!

“The single dumbest thing the US-centralized empire asks us to believe is that the military encirclement of its top two geopolitical rivals is a defensive action, rather than an act of extreme aggression.” journalist Caitlin Johnstone http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/57515.htm

See John Pilger on the coming war. Speak up. http://www.infor mationclearinghouse.info/57514.htm

1 . Mourn all victims of violence. 2. Reject violence & war as solutions. 3. Defend civil liberties.
          4. Oppose all discrimination: anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-Hawaiian, anti-Black, anti-Asian, anti-Russian, anti-LGBTQ, etc.  5. Seek peace through peaceful means and work for justice in Hawai`i and around the world.

F-22 Raptors over Big Island 4/28/23

Saturday, April 29th, 2023
F-22 Raptors over Big Island 4/28/23
The operating cost of an F-22 Raptor is over $85,000 per hour. Some reports say the building cost is over $400 million each.

This is money that should be going for housing, feeding the poor, and protecting the environment instead of escalating tensions for Nuclear War with China, Russia, North Korea, etc.

Pohakuloa & Red Hill Toxins!

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A federal grand jury is conducting a criminal investigation into the Red Hill fuel spills that sickened thousands of Hawaii families. https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/…/federal-grand-jury-is…/

Meanwhile, in Hawaii County, it doesn’t look like any criminal investigation of Pohakuloa Toxins will be happening here. A picture speaks a thousand words.

PTA Commander Kevin Cronin &  County Prosecutor Kelden B.A. Waltjen.  Photo from  PTA Facebook page

On April 20, 2023, schoolchildren from around Hawaii  attended “Experience Pohakuloa Day.”     Is Du blowing in the wind?

The truth is the Military’s Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) is the largest toxic site on Hawaii Island. PTA is 133,000 acres in size, more than 4 times the size of Kaho’olawe, and as big as the island of Guam. PTA is located in the center of Hawaii Island at an elevation of 6500 feet. Strong winds frequently blow through Pohakuloa carrying military toxins, like Depleted Uranium radiation (DU) oxide particles, around the island. Inhaling DU alpha dust particles is the most dangerous form of radiation. This is according to Hawaii resident, Dr. Lorrin Pang, MD who spent 24 years in the Army Medical Corps and has been listed among America’s Best Doctors. See Dr. Pang’s 17-minute video on DU dangers here – https://vimeo.com/19153948 Dr. Pang explains especially vulnerable are young children and pregnant women. Just like from Red Hill military contaminated water on Oahu, at Camp Lejeune, etc., etc.

The Hawaii County Council passed resolution 639-08 on July 2, 2008, by a vote of 8-1 that called for 8 actions, including stopping all live fire at PTA, comprehensive independent testing and monitoring, and clean up of DU present at Pohakuloa.  None of the 8 actions called for have been done.  The military has ignored the county’s call to action for 15 years. Millions of live rounds continue to be fired annually at PTA.

Challenge the Military Big Lie: “Pohakuloa is Safe!”

Aloha ‘Aina! Bomb Pohakuloa No More!

Question on transparency of live rounds fired and toxins at Pohakuloa Training Area

Question on transparency of live rounds fired and toxins at Pohakuloa Training Area

April 22, 2023 Earth Day

Pohakuloa Training Area  Jessica.Cho.mil@Army.mil

Aloha Sgt. Major Cho,

Happy Earth Day!

You were quoted in the Hawaii Tribune-Herald 4/21/23 about the “importance of transparency.”

In the interest of transparency, please tell me the current number of live rounds fired annually at PTA and list all the various weapon systems fired at PTA. The last available figure I recall was 14.8 million live rounds fired annually at PTA.  I believe that was back in 2003 in the Stryker EIS.  I haven’t seen any figures since.  Please let me know where these figures are available for the years since 2003.  It would also be good to know all of the various toxins and the quantities dispersed at PTA over the 75 years of bombing and shelling the ‘aina at the 133,000 acre Pohakuloa Training Area.  Things like lead, depleted uranium, perchlorate, white phosphous, PFAS, etc.

Mahalo for your prompt response.
