Last week a SpaceX rocket exploded in a fireball at the SpaceX site in Texas. “Fortunately,” reported Lester Holt on NBC TV’s Nightly News, “no one was aboard.”
But what if nuclear materials had been aboard?
Elon Musk, founder and CEO of Space X, should get the loony of the century award. Musk wants to explode 10,000 nuclear bombs over Mars to warm up the planet for habitation. His SpaceX company is selling T-shirts emblazoned with the words “Nuke Mars.”

On 28 Nov 1843, the United Kingdom and France jointly recognized the Hawaiian Kingdom as a sovereign and independent State, which was followed by formal recognition by the United States on 6 Jul 1844. By 1893, when it was overthrown, the Hawaiian Kingdom maintained over 90 legations (embassies) and consulates throughout the world.

Mitchell’s work doesn’t cover the U.S. military poisoning of Hawai’i as that would require a separate volume due to the concentration of the U.S. military bases and their pollution in the state. -more-
