Support Ohana Ho’opakele’s call for Pu’uhonua not prison

Ohana Ho`opakele will file a Motion for Summary Judgment to stop the Kulani Prison from opening. Filing will be at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Hilo Court House
A public demonstration and press conference will be held at 8 am in front of the “Law of the Splintered Paddle” sculpture in front of Hale Kaulike. (across from the state and county buildings) Come with signs, like “Pu`uhonua, not Prison” or “Act 117 Pu`uhonua at Kulani” or “Pu`uhonua at Kulani.” Also “Justice for Hawaiians”.
