Protect the Sacred!
Stop Building TMT — Stop Bombing Pohakuloa!
When protecting what is Sacred is deemed a crime and desecrating what is Sacred is protected under the Rule of law, we have a problem of lawlessness and corruption.
Today, Aug. 23, 2019 some of the 38 Mauna Protectors arrested July 17, 2019 had to appear in Hilo District Court on charges of Obstruction.
Just one example: “The State of Hawaii does not follow its own laws. Under Act 45 the Department of Transportation (DOT) was supposed to compensate the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) for the land on which DOT built Mauna Kea Access Road. 25 years later DHHL has still not been compensated — typical of the State of Hawaii stealing lands from native Hawaiians. Karmic justice to see it’s own malfeasance coming back to haunt the State of Hawaii…” Nate Yuen
The hypocrisy of Senator Lorraine Inouye, Chair of the Senate Committee on Transportation telling Gov. Ige and Attorney General Connors to “Uphold the Law” and push through TMT while Inouye and the State DOT violate the law to benefit special interests as noted above.
