Abolish NATO

The US Proxy war with Russia in Ukraine is escalating rapidly. The US and NATO keep pumping in Billions of dollars of new weapons – advanced tanks, Depleted Uranium (DU) munitions, Cluster Bombs, talk of F-16 aircraft, and even tactical nuclear weapons. The direction of this war keeps pointing to greater disasters, now including global nuclear war and the end of civilization as we know it.

Expanding NATO, and more and more weapons, are not the path to peace!

Let’s take a step back. NATO was formed in 1949 as a North Atlantic Treaty Organization to solve international disputes peacefully, including disputes with the Soviet Union, and save future generations from the scourge of war. The Soviet Union ended in 1991 but NATO has kept expanding membership and pushing closer toward Russia, provoking the current war in Ukraine.

The US pays more than 50% of NATO’s budget so basically NATO is the US war lapdog. NATO has been involved in US wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Sudan, etc. hardly in line with its founding principles as a defensive alliance to settle disputes through peaceful means.

What happens in the next few weeks in Ukraine will be critical to determine the future, according to former US CIA agent, Ray McGovern, who provided daily CIA briefings to 7 presidents. Will there be a ceasefire and peace negotiations or a major escalation by the US and NATO against Russia that will likely trigger the use of nuclear weapons and WWIII? There is a NATO summit coming up shortly that may not only determine the future of the war in Ukraine, but civilization on planet Earth.

According to McGovern, despite the Western media spin, the war in Ukraine is not going well for Ukraine. Russia views the Western push of NATO toward Russia as an existential threat, in the same way, the US viewed Soviet missiles placed in Cuba in 1962. Fortunately, the Cuban missile crisis did not escalate to nuclear war. It came very close but ended with peace negotiations and the Soviet removal of its nuclear weapons from Cuba, the US removal of its nuclear weapons near the Soviet border in Turkey, and a pledge that the US would not invade Cuba.

The big question now is can a ceasefire and a peace agreement be reached in Ukraine? According to McGovern, US neocons like Sec. of State, Antony Blinken,, State Dept. official Victoria Nuland, and Biden’s national security advisor Jake Sullivan operate with a sense of dangerous arrogance and impunity toward both Russia and China. And the general public is manipulated by what former US General and President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned about more than 60 years ago – the growing influence of the “Military Industrial Complex (MIC).” McGovern now calls it the “Military, Industrial, Congressional, Intelligence, Media, Academic, Think-Tank Complex (MICIMATT). What is needed now, more than ever, is an informed global citizen voice, to say before it is too late — NO MORE WAR! PEACE NOW! CEASEFIRE AND NEGOTIATIONS IN UKRAINE!

The Doomsday Machine!

In a chilling comment, the late Daniel Ellsberg in his book “The Doomsday Machine” published in 2017, states: “One day in the spring of 1961, soon after my thirtieth birthday, I was shown how our world would end… (On page 3) The total death toll as calculated by the Joint Chiefs, from a U.S. first strike aimed at the Soviet Union, its Warsaw Pact satellites, and China, would be roughly six hundred million dead. A hundred Holocausts.”

In 1961, the world population was 3 Billion according to the United Nations. As of Nov. 2022, the world’s population is 8 Billion according to the UN.

In my view, we are closer to a global nuclear war NOW than at any time in history. Where is the peace movement so much needed to prevent a global nuclear holocaust today amounting to Billions of deaths and the end of civilization?

Remember, Hawaii is the US military Indo-Pacific command, force center, staging ground, and training area for war covering more than half the earth. What the Pohakuloa Training Area’s (PTA) new commander, Lt. Col. Timothy Alvarado said and quoted on the Front page of The Hawaii Tribune-Herald, Thursday, June 29, 2023, is a lie: “WE ARE STEWARDS OF THE LAND.’ The truth is PTA is a training ground for war, including global nuclear war. If PTA is a steward of anything, it is a steward of THE BOMB,’ or as Daniel Ellsberg described it — THE DOOMSDAY MACHINE.

Hawaii Tribune-Herald fluff articles on Pohakuloa

Hawaii Tribune-Herald & West Hawaii Today fluff articles on Pohakuloa

On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, the Hawaii Tribune-Herald and West Hawaii Today ran a fluff front-page article by reporter, John Burnett, “PTA change of Command set for Wednesday,” that was about outgoing PTA commander LTC Kevin Cronin. On Thursday, the Trib ran a 2nd front page fluff article by Burnett “Alvarado assumes command at PTA — “We are stewards of the land” about the new PTA commander LTC Timothy Alvarado.

The truth is PTA is creating a multi-billion dollar, perhaps tens or hundreds of billions mess of contamination at PTA. Not only are they NOT stewards of the land. They are desecrators of the land. I can think of no greater form of desecrating the land than bombing it and contaminating the land with toxins like Depleted Uranium raditaion that has a half-life of 4.5 BILLION years. Millions of live rounds are fired annually at PTA. The last figure that I’m aware of released more than 15 years ago noted 14.8 million live-rounds fired annually at PTA.
