Testimony in opposition to HB 1307 Geothermal drilling on the Mauna

Aloha Legislators,

Our organization strongly opposes HB1307 for more Geothermal drilling on Hawaii Island.  Puna has already suffered plenty from geothermal desecration of Pele. Let’s not expand the desecration.  Our organization has stood in solidarity with the Pele Defense Fund for more than 40 years,  The state and county put corporate financial interests before respect for Pele and the health and safety of Hawaii’s people.  Enough.!  No more.drilling into Pele.  No more poisoning the people, the water, and the land..  No More Geothermal. No more desecration of Pele and the Mauna.
